Almost there. We've been busy here at BTF/NNFR: building barns, building milk stanchions, acquiring milk cows, etc. You know...the usual. We have all of the pieces in place now. Once Jenna gets back into a routine after some business travel, I expect we'll be elbow deep in the liquid, white goodness. The little bit she's collected so far has been surprisingly sweet. More updates to come.

That's WONDERFUL! I'm itchin to get out there - I'll check w/ ya'll after 'the party'!
Impressive!
I have this desire to become a cattle rancher when I was a kid. I find it so amusing and responsible. Honestly, this is a good livelihood, but it takes a lot of knowledge to do so: raising, weaning and milking. When milking a cow, see to it that you milk it at the same time daily, and sit on the same side of the cow each day. This method actually makes your cow feel comfortable. This really helps. I suggest you try it.
